Does Texas State Map Tell You Everything About Texas?

You will need more than a Texas state map to realize the truth about the state of Texas! When people talk about Texas they usually speak of Ranches, Cattle Farmers and the old drama series called “Dallas”. Well, there is so much more to Texas than any amount of writing can say, you will just have to come experience Texas yourself. In this expression of Texas, I am going to give you just a little peek.

I do believe we have it all in Texas!

I could name a few of the many wonderful Colleges we have right off the top of my head; Southern Methodist University, A M, University of Texas in Dallas, Baylor University (Dallas and Houston), Texas Women’s University and more. Some of these colleges may actually be on certain Texas state maps.

The entertainment throughout Texas is amazing!

If we were to look for a Texas state map to find Austin, it may not show you that it is a talent pool of musicians, artists or that it has the most wonderful atmosphere for those of us that are the laid back types that like quality over quantity. The nice natural environment encourages you to just be yourself, and I bet some non-Texans have heard that Austin offers a variety of the most amazing live music! This is the best way I could describe Austin. You don’t see that on a map!

As for Dallas, you wouldn’t be able to see all of the growth and Development just by looking at the map. Dallas is in constant development, it never stops growing! Just think of the entertainment and nightlife in a city that is consistently evolving. It would be really hard NOT to find a particular form of entertainment with areas in such close proximity to one another such as, Downtown Dallas, Uptown, Addison, North Dallas, Richardson and Plano, just to name the most popular areas. All of the areas mentioned are fun for shopping, site seeing and offer a variety of outstanding and culturally diverse restaurants.

If you are coming to Texas for a vacation, I would suggest that you find a way to do a tour of Texas. I don’t know if you will be able to find a Texas state map like this, but if you stick with the goal of trying to see as much of Texas as you possibly can, I believe this will enhance your vacation experience through finding and learning quite a bit of the cultural diversity Texas has to offer.

Please, don’t be fooled by what you see on a basic Texas state map, television, or the way people still like to display Texas. Many people have lived here their entire lives in Texas and still have yet to see every aspect of this wonderfully large state.

Whether you are just passing through or want to vacation in Texas, know you will be pleasantly surprised at everything this lovely state of Texas has to offer.
