Each and every one of us has different views on a variety of things. We see things differently; that is why we are able to make choices differently and to act upon various situations in differing magnitude from others. We might see two different person faced with the same obstacle. One may choose to give up and back out; the other may choose to do everything he can to surpass that particular obstacle. In terms of decoration, we all have varying interests. What may be beautiful or appealing for one might not be the case for another. However varied our perceptions on things may be, I have observed that many people feel similarly for chandeliers.

It is common for different people to view chandeliers as grand, elegant and beautiful types of light. And while many might argue on what type of chandelier is most beautiful, I believe many would agree that they are magnificent in their bulk and grandness. Many people feel this perhaps because of the fact that chandeliers are always portrayed, in movies or in reality, as those lights that adorn a grand ballroom or such space.

There are many types of chandeliers, and though each type may not be fitting for all decoration situations, each type would probably be a very effective decorative factor for the setting that they are best placed in. each home is invariably and relatively different from another; and in the rooms of each of these home may also be different from the others they are contained with. Because of these differences, one can never attribute a one chandelier fits all attitude when it comes to home and decor. For the home that you want to adorn it in, and for the room that you wish to place it in, there is a particular chandelier that would be most fitting for it.

As we have established that there is a type of chandelier for every home or room type, we now come to the fact that it is up to us to discern what type of room or home we have, and what type it would best decorate it. It is important, then, to first know the major types of chandeliers there are and how we they can be of relevance to our view of decor.

Crystal for the seeker of beauty.
The crystal chandelier, by the nature of its material, is always bluntly and readily beautiful. Some would even say that there is something quite magical being under the lights of this chandelier. Perhaps this has something to do with the play of light that happens with a crystal chandelier. This type of chandelier is best placed in a room that would offset its beauty and grandeur. It should not be placed together with decor that are less fancy than it is, for it would certainly overshadow them.

Glass for the coveter of subtlety.
Glass chandeliers always have with them the air of fragility, perhaps because of the nature of material. When we go the mall and into the section of figurines and glass items, there are always warnings of its breakability. This is also the very reason why it is very much appealing. Being fragile in nature has its own beauty, but this beauty is not like that of the crystal, which is apparent. The beauty of the glass chandelier lies in its subtlety.

There are more types of chandeliers, but I satisfy myself with exploring two of the major types there are. Chandeliers can be as unique as the person himself. one only needs to discern what would be best for ones abode.
